Jack of all Trades 3-IC position – Full Time
We are looking to expand our team and are seeking experienced Tyre fitter/ Wheel Aligner to step up and join our team as a workshop 3-IC in a full time role. Tyrepower Pakenham is a busy family business committed to providing exceptional service to our customers in the Pakenham area.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Provide high standards of customer service in person and over the phone ensuring repeat business
- Communicate well with all staff leading a positive work culture within the workshop
- Ability and knowledge to prioritise workflow and manage workloads
- Perform wheel alignments utilising a Hunter Wheel Aligner
- Remove existing tyres and fit replacements
- Oversee stock holdings and ordering of CODB items within workshop
- Diagnose and assess tyre damage and wear and perform puncture repairs
- Diagnose wheel balance problems and balance wheels
- Uphold OH&S guidelines at all times within the workplace
- Shifts will be allocated across a 5 day week (Mon-Fri 8.30am – 5.00pm) and rotational Saturday mornings (8.00am – 12.00pm) at overtime rates
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Previous Tyre fitting and Wheel alignment experience is a must
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Willingness to perform a hands-on labour based role, in addition to customer service and supervisory tasks
- Ideally have experience with Costar or Marlin tyre software.
- A current driver’s licence
- To be reliable, honest and hard-working
